Erik Kessels

Born in 1966. Artist, designer, and curator. He founded the communications agency KesselsKramer in 1996. Projects for clients include collaborations with Nike, Diesel, and Vitra. As an artist and curator, Kessels has published over 70 photobooks. His representative works, in which he used his ‘re-appropriated’ images include In Almost Every Picture (2001-2019) and Mother Nature (2014). Kessels made and curated various exhibitions, including 24HRS in Photos (2011), an installation of filling the exhibition space with prints of images uploaded to Flickr over twenty-four hours.
