Irma Boom

Born in 1960. Boom is a graphic designer specializing in bookmaking. She founded the Irma Boom Office in 1991 and has been working in cultural and commercial design both nationally and internationally. Her commissions include Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Inside/Outside, The Museum of Modern Art New York, Prince Claus Fund, Fondazione Prada, Vitra International, United Nations, OMA/Rem Koolhaas. Since 1992, she has been a senior critic in graphic design at Yale University and has given lectures and workshops worldwide.
